With a career spanning over two decades, Tanya has been at the forefront of inclusive education, ensuring that learners with complex educational, learning, and physical needs achieve outcomes beyond expectations.

As the founding Headteacher of a successful specialist school in London, Tanya led the institution for over nine years, shaping an environment where children with profound learning and physical disabilities could thrive. She later transitioned to establish an educational consultancy dedicated to supporting learners with complex educational needs, ensuring they receive bespoke, high-quality educational and therapeutic support.

At Acorn to Oak Education, Tanya leads and oversees EOTAS (Education Other Than at School) packages and specialist education programmes, ensuring they are tailored to each learner’s needs. As Senior Specialist Mentor, she works closely with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop strategies that enhance learning, personal development, and overall well-being.

Tanya is deeply committed to working directly with both children and their support networks, empowering parents and teachers to understand each child’s unique needs. She provides practical, solution-focused guidance that fosters confidence, resilience, and independence, ensuring every child has the opportunity to flourish within their family, education, and the wider community.

She believes in maximising potential by celebrating every achievement, no matter how small, and meeting each child on their level. By forming meaningful connections, she makes a lasting difference in the lives of children, parents, and educators alike.
