At Acorn to Oak Education, we support neurodivergent learners both alongside existing educational provision and through standalone, out-of-school programmes. Whether a learner is in school, between settings, or has been out of education for some time, we build individualised, relational, and holistic education packages tailored to their needs.
Alternative Education Pathways (EOTAS)
Education Support Packages (EOTAS & More)
We support neurodivergent learners in and out of school with tailored education packages that meet them where they are. Whether your child is struggling in school, currently out of education, or needs a little extra support – we can help.
-
In-School Support Package
Provides specialist mentoring and tutoring within a learner’s current school setting, helping to boost inclusion, emotional regulation, and academic progress.
-
Out-of-School Support Package
We offer mentoring and tutoring for learners who are enrolled in school but not currently attending, often due to anxiety, burnout, or other barriers to attendance.
-
Home Learning Package (EOTAS)
A full-time education programme delivered at home or in the community for learners who are not in school, including access to academic tutoring, mentoring, and therapeutic support such as counselling, occupational therapy, and speech and language therapy.

Combines part-time attendance at school with part-time education provided by us, ideal for learners transitioning back into settings or when the school cannot meet all of their individual needs.
-
School Transition Support Package
Short-term focused support for learners who are starting at a new school, using specialist mentoring or home tutoring (depending on the learner’s needs) for 1–2 hours during the school day to help them adjust, emotionally regulate, situated, and feel safe and have a safe space till they settle into their new environment.
-
Exam and Project Support Package
Focuses on helping learners with revision, coursework, and larger academic projects by addressing executive function challenges and providing structured mentoring.

Our Approach
Personalised Support
Whether your child is in school, out of school, or in between, we create flexible education plans that include tutoring, mentoring, wellbeing support, and therapeutic input if needed. We move at their pace, starting with trust and connection.
Relational and Holistic Approach
We focus on the whole child – not just academics. Our team helps learners feel safe, understood, and confident, supporting emotional regulation, executive functioning, and re-engagement with learning and the community.
All staff are DBS-checked and trained in safeguarding. We complete full risk assessments and health and safety planning for every learner. For full-time programmes, we coordinate all elements of support to ensure consistent, safe, and high-quality provision.
