Understanding Neurodivergent Coaching

Being neurodivergent isn’t just a small detail of who you are—it shapes how you experience the world. Too often, traditional counselling and coaching assume a neurotypical perspective, leaving neurodivergent individuals feeling unheard and unseen. We recognise that our clients are constantly navigating myths and misconceptions about themselves, their families, and their experiences. That’s why our coaching is neurodivergent affirming, ensuring that every individual we work with feels truly understood and supported.

Who we work with

We specialise in coaching for neurodivergent adults as well as parent and carer coaching for those supporting learners with additional needs. Our team understands the importance of working in a way that is affirming, practical, and tailored to each client’s unique strengths and challenges.

How coaching helps

We work with ADHD, autistic, and dyslexic clients, among others, helping them to achieve their goals while reducing the risk of burnout and overwhelm. Coaching is a highly practical process, focused on increasing self-awareness, identifying strengths, and developing strategies that align with everyone’s needs and aspirations. Often, our work also involves identifying necessary environmental adjustments and supports to make daily life more manageable.

Addressing Underrepresentation

Neurodivergent people, women, and people of colour remain underrepresented in leadership and senior management, despite greater representation at junior levels. We believe this needs to change. Success isn’t just about personal strengths—it’s also about creating environments that enable individuals to thrive.

What Our Leadership Coaching Covers

Our leadership coaching supports clients in:

  • Identifying and addressing environmental barriers to career progression

  • Planning and taking the right steps to advance in their careers

  • Engaging in mentoring and coaching tailored to their unique needs

Why This Matters

Our research shows that for 80% of individuals seeking leadership roles, an affirming workplace is the most significant factor in career advancement. Our initiative is designed to provide the space, support, and coaching necessary for neurodivergent professionals to navigate these challenges and access leadership opportunities.

How we work

Plan It:

We start with an in-depth exploration of strengths, aspirations, and the kind of work-life balance our clients want. From this, we develop a tailored plan that aligns with their values, work preferences, and long-term goals.

Make It Happen:

With a clear plan in place, we break down the steps needed to reach these goals. Through structured coaching and, if desired, mentoring, we support clients in making tangible progress over 12 months.
